Entire Cat Gang held in custody

The four famous feline delinquents, Dill, Pippo, Thomas, and Moppet, commonly known as the Eldrid Cat Gang, have finally been apprehended while rampaging through upstate New York. They have since been deported to Great Britain where, it is assumed, they will not be allowed to go to any more football matches for a very long time.

In a typical sympathy-seeking statement, their lawyer ranted on at quite some length about the draconian UK judicial system and the supposed innocence of the four gang members, although an oblique admission of some chipmunk abuse was hinted at. The cats refused to comment, and have so far declined the opportunity to be photographed in their cells. We'll keep you informed of new developments.
