The still unnamed webmaster hotly denies that his successful 'online blackmail' pages are unadorned extortion, but admits to wishing he had thought of it before. However, rumours that the ill-gotten revenues from this little venture will allow him to retire to Bermuda in the very near future are greatly exaggerated, he claimed. 'These 'Newtons' appear to be more amused than ashamed by the broad publication of their most secret and embarrassing exploits. You'd think they were royals,' he bitterly complained.
The major reason for this latest edition of Newtonia.Org, beside a couple of minor revelations, is to spiff up the underlying technology a bit more. It was decided that the 'GO BACK,' BENEFITS,' and 'RECIPES' buttons weren't confusing enough so they have been replaced with a new, but similarly inconsistent, system. Now, to get anywhere in this page it is necessary to click on the links on the left. Sometimes the links on the left also change and sometimes you'll have to click on a button anyway. Most of the features can be viewed in the old way, but the 'Rogues' Gallery' has moved to the right from its old position under the menu. There might be further surprises.
Mum's latest stunt was, unfortunately, a non-starter. As you know, she was to head the British submarine team in the recent joint North Sea exercises, but was vetoed by the Russians, who obviously know more about her past as a cold war spy than she likes to admit.
